The Executive Governor of Jigawa state Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has commended the Buhari led administration over projects worth thirty one billion naira in the Northeast of Jigawa state.
The Governor made the statement when he inspected the ongoing reconstruction of 120km Gaya-Jahun-Kafin Hausa road project.
Previous govenments have abandoned calls from the frequent users of the road and the people of the area inspite the dilapidated nature of the road which links several communities in both Kano and Jigawa state.
The road which was abondoned for decades and now awarded for it's reconstuction at the cost of twenty five billion naira by the Buhari's led administration.
However, Governor Badaru paid an inspection visit to the project site in the state owned Sule Lamido University where Tetfund through it's counterpart project is constructing additional faculties of social science, Agriculture, Computer and Information technology.
The governor who inspected the projects which also includes road networks in the University, senior staff quarters and students hostel says the project gulped about thirteen billion naira adding that, through the state government injected the sum of seven billion naira while Tetfund gave 6.2 billion for the projects.
