APC LG Congress: We Receives No Petition In Jigawa, Says Appeal Cmtt

As All Progressive Congress ( APC) local government appeal committee entered its third day in Jigawa state, it received no single petition from the party members.

This was made known by the Chairman of the Appeal committee Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar who was sent to the state from the national headquarters of the party, Abuja, 

The leader of the Appeal committee while interacting with the Press, shortly after meeting with the stakeholders of the party in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital said, the committees was in the state to receive complaint if any from the party members with regards to the just concluded local government congresses in the state and forward it up to the National leadership of the party in Abuja.

"The committee was established in according to the party constitution for promoting unity progress , justice and fairness in the party", he stated.

According to him base on what they have seen and what they heard the APC in Jigawa state is united and the members have mutual respect to their leaders.

"As we entered third day in Jigawa state there was no single individual or group of people approached us/with written or verbal complaint with regards to the last local government congresses," he added.

"This symbolized that the party leader in the state Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar is carrying every body along and above all is allowing internal democracy to take its cause in the party"

Alhaji Abubakar than commended all. the APC members in the state for the way and manner they conducted them selves which led to the overwhelming success of the congress in the state.

Also speaking at the party headquarters, the state deputy governor Umar Namadi said, during the 2019 general election, no single petition received by any election tribunal in the state because the people of Jigawa state believe in true democracy.

"I am optimistic that, the local government congresses appeals committee will closed its sitting in the state without receiving any petition as every good party member in the state was satisfied with the conduct of the congress", the deputy governor declared.
