Kano state governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has Meanwhile directed all Commissioners, Advisers as well as other appointees in his led government to attend the incoming Independence Day Parade coming up on Friday, 1st October.
The governor gave the directive this Tuesday during the state executive council meeting held at the Africa House, Government House, Kano.
Governor Ganduje also announced that, the State Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba is leading the Committee for the Independence Day celebration.
Meanwhile, Commenting on the forthcoming state congress of the All Progressive Congress (APC), slated to take place on the 16th, October, this year, Dr Ganduje stated the readiness of Party in the state for congress.
"We are getting ready for the state congress. We are making all the necessary preparations for the state congress," he explained.
