The Federal Road Safety Corps, Jigawa State Command said it has formed its newly established Ringim Unit Command to mitigate the rising cases of frequent road traffic crashes in the area.
Jigawa Sector Commander of the Corps, Ahmed Muhammad made the disclosure when he paid a courtesy call to Emir of Ringim in his palace.
The Sector Commander who said the visits was aims to keep the emir a brace for the take up of the new Unit Command, situated in his domain.
He stated that, the formation of the FRSC Unit Command in the area would also help in providing quick response to any emergencies and eventualities.
"The Corps Marshal has graciously approved the establishment and immediate take-up of Ringim Unit Command after meeting the basic requirements for creating a new Unit," The Sector Commander recalled
He then conveyed the the appreciation of the FRSC Corps Marshall and solicited for the support of the Emir for the successful take up of the new office and other statutory routine activities of the organization in the peninsula.
Responding, the Emir of Ringim Alhaji Abubakar Sayyadi Mahmoud expressed gratitude and pledged for his support towards realising the set objectives of the Corps.
The Emir therefore urged the deployed FRSC Personnel into the new Unit Command to be fair in carry-out their duties.
