Governor Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa state had signed the year 2022 appropriation bill into law.
The governor signed the bill into law, Wednesday, shortly before the weekly executive council meeting,is held at Government House, Dutse, the state capital
The 2022 fiscal year estimate worth N177,795,588 billion was earlier presented to the Jigawa State House of Assembly by Governor Badaru on November 10th 2021 for scrutiny and approval.
Governor Badaru had assented on the 2022 budget document nearly a day after it was passed into law by the Jigawa State House of Assembly.
Speaking shortly after signing the bill into law, the Governor expressed glade for the speedy passage of the budget for the services of Jigawa state people.
"We'll do everything humanly possible to implement the budget inline with the targeted projects and services and in the best interest of our people from January to December 2022," Badaru assured.
He then charged all the heads of government Ministries, Departments and Agencies to begin using their budget without delay as captured from January to December next year.
