A group of young politicians in Jigawa state under a platform called "Badaru's Disciples" has vowed to enlighten the general public on the need to uphold the politics of respect, decency and. ideology against politics of hatred, bigotry and selfishness.
The group made the assertion when they paid a courtesy visit to Hadejia Emirate Community group known as " Hadejia Ina Mafita.
In his speech on behalf of the platform, member representing Hadejia constituency in the state Assembly Hon. Abubakar Jallo said, they paid the visit to appreciate the award of honour and warmth reception accorded to their political mentor Governor Badaru by "Hadejia Ina Mafita".
"Badaru's disciples is a group of young politicians including political office holder from national to wards level and other political actors who were mentored into politics by Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar," he explained."
He therefore added that, "The campaign promises fulfilled to Hadejia Emirate by Governor Badaru and the respect he is given to humanity as well is what the governor always preach to young generation and society.
"We were trained by our political mentor Governor Badaru Abubakar on politics of unity, peace and progress of Jigawa state and Nigeria at large," Jallo declared.
Responding during the visit, The Vice Chairman, Hadejia Ina Mafita Dr Hussaini Shehu, said the award of honour conferred on Governor Badaru which was based on merit, was the first ever award the Association presented to a sitting Governor of the state.
