PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Donates N50m to Flood Victims in Jigawa

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, has donated the sum of N50 million to victims of flood in Jigawa state.

The presidential candidate announced the donation during his visit to the emirs of Hadejia Alhaji Abubakar Haruna Maje and Dutse Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi respectively.

Atiku who visited the two emirs, Friday night, in their respective Palaces said, the visit is to sympathize with flood victims in the state.

"Our visit for today is to sympathized with the victims of the flood disaster not for politics but we will come back the second round for the presidential campaign," Atiku promised.

Responding, the Emir of Hadejia Alhaji Abubukar Maje and that of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Sunusi appreciated the visit and the donation given to a flood committee.

They (Emirs) assured that, the assistance given will be distributed accordingly to the people affected by the flood in the state.

During the visit, the PDP Presidential candidate was together with some members of his campaign council, Sokoto state Governor Aminu Tambuwal, former Jigawa state Governor Sule Lamido and other PDP supporters from within and outside Jigawa state.
