Eidl-Kabir: Jigawa Gov. Namadi greet, reminds Muslims on generosity to needy ones

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has sent a heartfelt greetings to the Muslims faithful in the state and the world at large on the occasion of Eidl-Kabir. 

The Governor in a statement made available to NEWSKEEPER by his Chief Press Secretary Hamisu Gumel, invokes Allah's blessings upon the citizens and their loved ones, praying that this celebration may bring about harmony, happiness, and prosperity to all.
 
"Eidl-Kabir, a significant event in the Islamic calendar, symbolizes the steadfastness and devotion of Prophet Ibrahim. It serves as a reminder to emulate the values of selflessness, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in our lives", the governor said. 
 
He urges Muslims to use this sacred occasion to embody the essence of Eid ul Kabir by extending generosity and kindness to those in need.
 
"It is a time to share our blessings with the less fortunate, foster unity, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood within our communities. Together, we can build a society where no one is left behind and where compassion and empathy prevail," he said.

Governor Namadi highlights the efforts of the new administration in mitigating the recurring flood disasters that have plagued the state saying that, work is currently ongoing in several flood prone areas in the state to avoid a repeat of the calamity this year. 

However, Gov Namadi appreciates the efforts put in place by the traditional, religious leaders and community members toward maintaining the peace and progress of Jigawa State.
