The Association of Kano Online Journalists (ASKOJ) has commisirate with the family of late Abdullahi Yakubu who passed on Friday.
In a press statement by the Acting Chairman of Association Mr. Salisu Yakubu described late
Abdullahi Yakubu as a gentle man who will always be remembered for his contributions in the media industries and beyond.
"His lost is a hard one not only to his immediate family and friends, but also, to the journalist's community and state at large," the statement said.
Yakubu was a quite and hard-working man who was always committed to his work and always wanted to see the best in every situation.
"He was a man who believed in justice and always carried others along when he had the chance. He will be missed greatly."
ASKOJ also condoles his organization, Leadership News Paper over this great lost, Kano NUJ and the Kano Correspondent Chapel.

Before his demise, late Malam Abdullahi Yakubu was once Chairman of the Jigawa State Correspondent Chapel and hold various positions during his lifetime in journalism.
