A book titled 'Kura-kuren Talakawan Arewa a siyasar Nigeria was launched in the ancient city of Dutse, Jigawa state capital.
The book authored by Comrade Umar Danjani Hadejia captured many scenarios on the current reality of the Arewa and Nigerian politics by extension.
Discussed thoroughly in the book include among others, the betrayal of political trust, adopting political shenanigans and ostentatious life style by Northern political leaders which the author cited among the major contributory factors to the moral degeneration, social and economic challenges bedevilling the region.
Speaking during the event, Author of the book titled "Kura Kuran Talakawan Arewa A Siyasar Najeriya" Comrade Umar Danjani Hadejia highlighted that, must of the present political leaders in the region are children of common man whose forefathers paid supreme price for their emancipation, but now turned to be creating more challenges to the region though shenanigans and ostentatiousness life style.
Commenting on the book, Chairman of the occasion (Dr.) Sule Lamido faulted the political inconsistency, dishonest among the politicians as what prostrated Talakawa and made them to lost confidence on the system.
The former governor, Sule Lamido, noted that, the current literacy level in the society and political awerenes are higher than before but the problems itching Talakawa is who to trust and who has sincere feeling to their plight.
Professor Dahiru Abdulkadir of Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa while reviewing the book, stated that, the book has captured some of the real situation in Nigerian politics.
He explained that, the book highlighted that, poverty, low literacy,, greediness are among the contributory factors that shield common man from choosing right leaders in North and Nigeria at large.
According to him the abandoned of politics of Ideology and nationalism to politics and leadership as business venture had equally promote lose of political value, moral decadence and system failure in the Nation.
The book launching, held on Saturday at Manpower Development Institute, Dutse have in attendance dignitaries from within and outside Jigawa state.
