| FUD holds 6th, 7th convocation this month - official |

The Federal University Dutse, Jjgawa state will hold its 6th and 7th combined convocation ceremonies and the investiture of the 2nd Chancellor of the university, His Majesty King W. S. Joshua, Igbugburu, the X, CON, (JP), the Ebenanawei of Bomo Kingdom and the Pioneer Chairman of the Bayelsa State Traditional Council.
According to the statement by the FUD Deputy Director, Public Affairs Mr. Abdullahi Yahaya Bello said that, the convocation will be held on Saturday, the 24th of February, 2024 by 9:am prompt.
The statement also highlighted the programs lined up for the convocation among which include the Pre-Convocation Press briefing to Journalists in Jigawa state by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed on the 21st of February, 2024.
"This will be followed by the commissioning of projects at the Rasheed Shekoni Teaching Hospital by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof . Muhammad Ali Pate,CON, on Friday, 23rd of February,2024 by 10 am prompt," the statement added.
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare will also deliver the Pre-Convocation Lecture titled: Human Capital in the Era of Polycrisis on Friday,23rd of February, 2024 4:pm .
The former Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmad Rufai,OON will chair the Pre-Convocation Lecture.
