The Association of Kano Online Journalists (ASKOJ) paid a courtesy visit to the Director General Media and Publicity, Kano State Government House, Alhaji Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa.
During the recent courtesy event held, Tuesday at the office of the Director General in Government House, Kano, ASKOJ Chairman, Mallam Salisu Yakubu, emphasized that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen the longstanding relationship between the association and the DG, which predated the current administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Yakubu commended the DG for effectively portraying Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in a positive light through his notable achievements in the media.
According to him, Sanusi Bature is considered the most suitable candidate for the job and the Governor displayed careful consideration in his appointment, which has proven to be highly successful.
He emphasized that, ASKOJ is dedicated to highlighting the positive accomplishments of Kano State Government not only to the residents within the State but to the entire nation of Nigeria and the world at large.
Reacting, the Director-General expressed appreciation for the professionalism exhibited by ASKOJ, noting that many of its members have being working alongside with him years back, particularly during Governor Abba Kabir's election campaigns.
He also pledged ongoing support for the association in fulfilling its professional duties.
