Kano Government College football team are expected to storm Abuja ahead of national inter secondary schools Under-15 soccer tournament scheduled hold from October 24 to November 1, 2024.
The competition which is being organized by the Nigerian School Sports Federation (NSSF) under the leadership of its President, Olabisi Joseph attracted schools across the country in attendance.
Speaking on the competition, the head of school sports of Kano state ministry of education, Ibrahim Bello said preparations for the championship had been commenced with a view to ensure the state excel in the tournament.
He explained that the boys had already engage in vigorous training and other technique twice a day aimed at emerging victorious at the end of the competition.
While commending Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the state Commissioner of education, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa for their unflinching support financially and morally, he charged the boys to do everything possible to ensure the state success in the competition.
Bello however, assured with the boys commitment and determination, the sky will be their limit.
Meanwhile, the NSSF President, Olabisi Joseph warned the participating schools to avoid fielding overage players, as the organised will not tolerate such behavior during the championship.
