Kano State Governor, Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Wednesday evening visited Kofar Mazugal Lungun Mai Lalle in Dala Local Government to commiserate with Mal.Mustapha Shehu, a resident whose family falled victims of a building collapse due to incessant rainfall.
The incident affected eighteen members of the family, out of which two deaths occurred.
The team led by Kano State Deputy Governor Nasiru Yusif Gawuna unbehalf of Governor Ganduje called on the victims to continue to seek for solace from Almighty Allah and accept the incident in good faith.
"We really feel sad over the unfortunate situation...we should continue to pray for prevention of recurrence of the incident in future," he said."
He added.."our administration hereby sympathise with you at this difficult time."
The high-powered tead consist members of the State Executive Council, State Emergency Management Agency and Dala Local Government Officials respectively.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor Hassan Musa Fagge said, "While sympasized with the victims, the State Government's delagation announced some assistance of N250,000 in cash alongside 2 bags of rice,10 bags of cement, 4 bags of maize, 2 mattresses, 2 packets each of spaghetti and macaroni, 2 bags of salt, 10 buckets, 10 cups, 10 plates and 10 gallons of palm oil."
