The member representing Ajingi, Gaya and Albasu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya, has called on Muslims in the country to devote their prayers to calling on Allah to end the numerous economic and security challenges facing the country.
According to him, Muslims shall continue pray for an end to all challenges bedivilling the country which he said is considered to be a test of faith and a challenge to everyone.
The lawmaker in a press release issued to newsmen, Monday, in Kano noted that, with resolute commitments and dedication of all Nigerians the country will overcome its present challenges especially when peoples support the security agencies with meaningful information this will assist security personnel in maintaining and safe guarding lives and properties of Nigerians.
Hon Abdullahi Gaya added that, as peoples mark the Eid-el Kabir:, let us remember the sacrifice and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to the will of Allah, and always submit ourselves, fully, to the will of the Almighty and in service of all mankind, saying the significance of the Eid should be beyond the festivities, adding that the real essence was not in the meat or the blood of the animal but to encourage piety, self-discipline and sacrifice.
However, Hon Gaya felicitate with the Kano state Governor Abdullahi Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, House principal leaders, peoples of his constituents and other Nigerian Muslims for witnessing yet another Eid celebration and pray for a hitch free Eid activities.
