Nigerian Vice President, Prof Osibanjo

The vice president, Professor Yemi Osibanjo has launched 28 editions of National Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Clinic in Jigawa state designed to bring the businesses opportunities closer to the people.
Professor Osibanjo lunched the program during a one day working visit to the state.
He said: “MSME Clinic is a project in which federal government is collaborating with state governments to host all advisory and regulatory bodies of MSME in one place to avoid unnecessary delay and bottleneck in the setup and development of the business in Nigeria.”
The vice president reiterated the commitment of federal government to poverty eradication growth and development by creating enabling environment for the development of small, medium and large scale enterprise in Nigeria.
Osibanjo commended Jigawa state Governor, Alhaji Muhammdu Badaru Abubakar for his prudent and exemplary leadership which makes Jigawa to be a Pace-Setter on Agricultural and SME development in Nigeria.
The Vice president had also during the visit, commissioned road project and lunched the distribution of empowerment packages, including tractor and other agricultural implements to over 923 beneficiaries initiated by Jigawa state government.
On his part, Jigawa state Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar commended federal government for executing various projects really touched and transformed lives of the Jigawa citizens and the country at large.
He also thanked vice president, Osinbanjo for his love and passion in handling program designed for poverty eradication, jobs creation, economic growth and development which Jigawa state benefitted immensely.
