The Jigawa state governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar has approved the appointment of Umar Farouk Dutse as the new Director General, Manpower Development Institute, Dutse.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini and made it available to news men in Dutse the state capital.
Farouk Dutse, served as a member of the Governing Council of the Institute from 2015 to 2019.
The statement said "while congratulating the new Director General for well deserved appointment, wish him success in the discharge of his official duties".
The statement further disclosed that the appointment is with immediate effect.
