Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has approved the appointment of Malam Isma’il Musa, as the State Auditor General.
Before now, Malam Isma’il was the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics at the state Ministry for Local Government. He succeeded Hajiya Amina Inuwa Sa’id, who recently retired from the State Civil Service.
Equally in a statement made available to Newskeeper in Kano on Monday, by the Director Media and Communication, Government House, Kano, Mallam Aminu Yessar said that, the Governor also approved the appointment of Malandi Umar Kura, as Permanent Secretary, in the State civil Service.
Until his elevation, Malandi, held the position of Director, Geographical Information System, Kano State Bureau for Land Management.
The DG's statement explained that, The appointments, were conveyed in separate correspondences signed by the State Head of Civil Service, Binta Lawal Ahmed, and it has stated that, "The tenure of the two senior civil servants will be governed by conditions applicable to such statutory career posts in the Public Service”.
"The appointments symbolize the esteemed recognition of the personal credibility and competence as well as patriotic disposition of the two appointees, towards promotion of the goals of the State," the statement added.
According to the statement, Governor Ganduje after congratulating the appointees, he charged the to be honest and committed to their duties as they will be sworn in in a later date.
