Kano lawmaker, Jobe empowers 10,000 youths with farming implements

Member representing Dawakin Tofa, Rimin Gado And Tofa federal constituency hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe has distributed farming implements to about 10,000 youths which included women as part of his effort towards providing means of self-reliance to the teaming youths in his constituency.

Speaking at the distribution of the implements held, Tuesday, at Doka town in Tofa Local Government Area, the legislator who's also a candidate of the NNPP in the forthcoming House of representatives election for the constituency said, the gesture was part of his resolve and commitment to save tens of thousands of youths from the clutches of joblessness and unemployment at the time when acquisition of white collar jobs become extremely difficult.
He pointed out that, the business of farming is widely known and acknowledged as a profitable venture adding that, his major cardinal thrust was to empower the powerless and down trodden to become self reliant and productive.

The embattled lawmaker represented by his Director-General Campaign, Hon. Adamu Abubakar Mainasara however stated that, the dividend of democracy could only be felt, when those calling the shots in respective positions of authorities exhibited a spirit of compassion and personal magnanimity.
The distribution exercise was attended by prominent political figures in the constituency which include the Party Chairmen  of Dawakin Tofa, Rimin Gado and Tofa, Kano North Zonal Excos and the NNPP's State Secretary respectively.

Others that graced the occasion are; Dr. Hamisu Sidi Ali and prominent personalities from the constituency.  

In their seperate remarks at the event, Some of the beneficiaries; Alhaji Yaro inuwa Tofa, Aisha Galadima and Shua'aibu Saidu Rimin Gado thanked Hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe for the gesture and assured their continue support coming 2023 general election.
