The management of Bayero University, Kano has debunked a report that the University has increased it's school fees.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Monday in Kano by the Deputy Registrar, Public Affairs Malam Lamara Garba said the purported story is totally unfounded.
The statement reads, "The attention of the Management of Bayero University, Kano has been drawn to a purported fake letter in circulation on social media announcing an increase in registration fees."
"In the light of the above, students, parents and other stakeholders should note that Bayero University has not yet decided on any school fees increase as against the social media post being circulated by some unscrupulous elements." added in the statement as contained in a special bulletin of the University.
However, the statement called on members of the public to disregard the information in circulation as fake and malicious.
