Kano Govt Poised to Leave No Stone Unturn - Nasiru Garo

Kano State government poised to leave no stone unturn to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

The state commissioner for Environment RT. Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo made the assertion today while receiving the new Managing Director for Kano Sustainable Project (KSP) who called on him in his office.

The Commissioner charged the MD to be proactive to revive the agency in view of its significance to the wellbeing of the teeming populace.

According to the statement by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry Ismail Garba Gwammaja, Garo explained that, the present administration is committed and desirous to improve the living Standard and ensure tidy environment devoid of Waste for healthy leaving, he stressed.


"Iam aware of the present situation of the agency which need urgent intervention, I personally discovered and witnessed a lot of issues during my visitation to the agency as a commissioner for Environment," he pointed out. 

Also, the Commissioner expressed optimism that with the commitment and zeal of the present administration all the issues would be address simultaneously.

Earlier, in his remarks the new Managing Director, Kano Sustainable Project Hon. Usaini Sarki Aliyu Madobi, said they were at commissioner office for formal self introduction and to discuss vital issues regarding the agency for possible consideration.

He highlighted some of the issues bedevilling the smooth operation of the agency which includes, the permanent site, operational vehicles, dilepidated equipment among other issues.

He solicited the commissioner kind attention to look into with a view to finding lasting solutions, so that they will support the government in its desire to achieve maximum success.
