Clear any debris, grasses or else... - Gov Yusif warned GRA residents

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has directed residents of Nasarawa GRA to ensure clean and tidy environment, by way of cutting down all forms of grasses and trim them as well as clearing any other debris around their compound within the period of one week or face the wrath of laws.

The governor represented by the state commissioner for Environment and Climate Change Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo gave the directive while conducting round all gardens and packs in Nasarawa GRA and other places under the ministry of Environment to asses their position and functionality or other wise for government to have a full idea and records for all gardens and packs under the ministry.

The Commissioner in a statement made available to NEWSKEEPER, Friday, by the Director Public Enlightenment Ismail Garba Gwammaja explained that, the call for the residents of Nasarawa GRA to dwelt on cleaning and cutting down grasses and trim them to look very smart is part of government agenda to beautify the state and improve ecosystem and eco restoration for healthy leaving. 

He warned deesisbly for the residents of Nasarawa GRA as a matter of urgency to comply with the Said instructions as government would not spired any body found wanting or neglecting the above mentioned instructions, he emphasized.

"The present administration is passionate to have a conducive and habitable environment, so they is need for people to complement government efforts In this direction," the statement added. 

According to the statement, staff from the ministry of Environment were deployed to monitor compliance at the area.
