The Association of Kano Online Journalists (ASKOJ) has congratulated Muslim Ummah on holy Ramadan 2024, beginning on Monday.
While felicitating Muslims for another opportunity to witness the sacred month, Chairman of ASKOJ, Yakubu Salisu, offered prayers for blessings and spiritual growth of fasting Ummah.
Comrade Yakubu further urged government at all levels to consider as a matter of urgency any modalities to cushion the current hardship that Nigerians are facing.
Also, he called on Muslim ummah to reiterate more on seeking Allah's intervention against economic hardship facing citizens across the country.
"As we commenced Ramadan, ASKOJ offers heartfelt greetings to people of Kano and Muslims worldwide."
“May this Ramadan be a time for profound reflection, spiritual renewal, and acts of charity," he added.
In the chairman's statement made available to journalists in Kano by ASKOJ Assistant Secretary Hadiza Musa prayed for the Ramadan period to bring forth peace, prosperity, and an alleviation of the hardships we face as a nation and We wished everyone a blessed and rewarding Ramadan Kareem.
